Bidding process for road projects annulled
ISLAMABAD: The PTI government has annulled the bidding processes for three road infrastructure projects in Chitral.
According o documents available with ChitralToday, the National Highway Authority (NHA) in a notice stated that bidding process for the construction of Garam Chashma Do Rah Pass (82.5 km) package 1 Chitral-Garam Chashma section (42.5 km) is annulled in pursuance of Rule 33(1) of the Public Procurement Rule 2004.
The NHA also said the bidding process for the improvement and widening of Chitral-Ayun-Bumburate road (45.94 km), package II (29.46 km) including Bumburate to Kalash valley (11.42 km) is also annulled with immediate effect.
Besides, the NHA also annulled the bidding process for the construction of buildings and allied portal facilities of Lowari Tunnel project. Bids for these projects had been floated in the beginning of the current year.
