Kids chant slogans demanding drinking water

Instead of concentrating on their education, kids like these in the picture from the Mori Lasht village in lower Chitral every morning have to fetch water from far off places to drink and wash their hands.

Local residents say water is available at a distance of seven kilometres but there is no fund to lay a pipe from the source to the village. Yesterday, these kids were seen chanting slogans demanding supply of water to their houses. See detailed story at this link
