GHIZER: GB\’s oldest woman has died at the age of over 120 years as claimed by locals. According to the local people, Syeda Mirza Begum Al-Hussaini was born in 1880s. She was called by the local people as Dadi Balawaristani.
After her death at a hospital, she was laid to rest at her ancestral village of Sher Qila in the Ghizer district. It is also said she was born somewhere in Chitral after which her parents migrated to the Ghizer area.
A large number of people from different walks of life attended her funeral and expressed condolence with the grand and grandchildren of Ms Al-Hussaini.
