PTI local leader Irshad Mukarrar in a press statement on Saturday said officials of an international firm have reached the site of the powerhouse to get the work started. He said the construction of a road from Lawi to Beganisar Shishikoh and a modern hospital was also a part of he project. He said the provincial government had allocated Rs1 billion for the power project, which was in the doldrums for over 20 years. He credited MPA Fouzia Bibi for taking up the dead project with the provincial government and starting work on it. He said that the project was a gift from the PTI government for the people of Chitral.]]>
