In a statement issued from here, Ahmed said that the provincial government had claimed in newspaper reports that free textbooks worth Rs422 million had been distributed among the students across the province on time. But he said that most of the schools in Chitral were yet to get the books.
He also said that like the previous years, this year too irregularities had been detected in the distribution of the books among the students due to the negligence of the district government and the education department of Chitral.
He said that the printing, sequence of page numbers and composing of the books was of very low quality, which should be rectified.]]>
