On April 29, the Chitral police were informed that some valuables including 10 mobile phones and two wrist watches, were stolen from the TCS office located near the petrol pump on the Bypass road soon after these items reached there through a courier.
The SHO of Chitral police station, Sultan Baig, formed a team led by Inspector Muzaffar Shah to probe the matter.
The investigating team picked two youth from the Rehan Kot village on suspicion and claimed to have recovered the stole valuables from their possession. The police said legal action had been initiated against the two men.—S. Nazir Hussain Shah
