Training sessions for CBOs conclude

Community Management Skills Training, Leadership Management Skills Training were arranged for the Presidents and General Secretaries of the CBOs from the Kosht, Mulkhow and Shagram union councils while the Operation and Maintenance training was provided to members of O&M committees. The training sessions were held in PTDC Booni. Talking to the community activists, SRSP-HRDO Kamal Abdul Jamil said that these training programes aimed in building the capacities of CBOs to enable them better manage their CBOs and work in field. He said that under CDLD policy the government has approved number of schemes which were being executed through the communities therefore the SRSP focuses on strengthening of CBOs. Expressing their views about these trainings Member District Council Ghulam Mustafa, Member Tehsil Council Inamullah and known social worker Mustansiruddin, youth councilor Abdul Wasi lauded the services of SRSP in supporting communities and termed the investment on Human Development as the real service. They urged activists to disseminate the knowledge and awareness in their particular communities. They requested the district government to release funds for rehabilitation of schemes under CDLD policy. ]]>
