Flood affectees provided water filter taps
BOONI, Sept 3: Funded by the Ministry of Science and Information Technology KPK, the Pakistan Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (PCSIR), introduced water filter taps for flood affected people. The distribution of the taps among 150 flood affectees from Reshun was held in Booni on Thursday. Assistant Director Science and Information Technology KPK Mr Muhammad Younis was the chief guest on the occasion, Speaking on the occasion, MPA Sardar Hussain appreciate the efforts of PCSIR and thanked the Ministry for funding the project, He also requested the ministry for the provision of more than 2,000 similar water taps in the flood-affected Upper Chitral where severe shortage of drinking water has hit the people.—SN Peerzada]]>
