Ulema Council candidate claims victory

DROSH, April 20: A leader of Muttahida Ulema Council, tehsil Arandu, has claimed to win the local government election. Talking to media here, Maulana Abdul Haye, who was nominated for the district council seat from Arandu, said the people of the area had unanimously nominated the candidates for the district and tehsil councils and his victory was sure. He said people of Arandu were loyal to Islam and Pakistan and would never hesitate to give sacrifices for their religion and the country. He lamented that the previous and the current elected representative committed negligence towards the issues of Arandu. Once again, these circles are trying to deceive the people of this backward area. It is pertinent to mention that a local alliance has been formed in tehsil Arandu, called Muttahida Ullema Council, which has nominated its candidates for the district and tehsil council irrespective of the district level alliance of JUI and JI.  Maulana Abdul Haye is a candidate for the district council and Maulana Ghazi Wali for the tehsil council.]]>
