CHITRAL, March 1: Two houses and the boundary wall of another house were damaged during the recent rain in the Tamunik upper area of Broze village.
According to Muhammad Mujahid, the vice-president of Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chitral, the houses belonged to Ashraf Khan, Haidar Ali and Hafeezuddin.
Talking to this scribe, the owners of the houses said they were very poor and had spent their lifetime earnings on the construction of the houses. Now they are living under the open sky despite severe cold. The affected people appealed to the chief minister KP for paying them compensation.—GH Farooqui ]]>
