Chitral police accused of protecting drug mafia

CHITRAL, Dec 16: At an open katchery here, the citizens complained that charas and other drugs were being sold openly at different places of Chitral. The dens and the drug peddlers are known to everyone but the police only go after anyone who purchases Hashish valuing around Rs. 50 or Rs.100. They said it was intriguing that the police never arrested the drug peddlers who were playing with the future of the people, especially the youth.
