Body of missing girl recovered
DROSH, July 22: The body of a teenage girl who went missing from her native village in the Laspur vallay on June 18 was recovered from the Kalkatak riverbed on Monday. The Drosh police shifted the body to the THQ hospital and alerted all the police stations in the district. Later, the body was identified as that of Fahmida Khanum, daughter of Zerbali Khan of Gasht village in Laspur. The relatives of the deceased later reached Drosh and took away the body. The Mastuj police said they had received a complaint about the disappearance of the girl and also found the scarf of the girl from the bank of the river Laspur. The police said that the girl had committed suicide by jumping into the river after failing in her matric exam.—K.A. Jamil]]>
