Speakers on the occasion asked the young generation, especially students, to play their role in the development of the country. They said anti-state elements propagating against the sovereignty of the country would never succeed in their nefarious designs.
They also said students should get higher and quality education and work for the eradication of corruption, poverty and terrorism. Awards were also distributed among talented students as well as senior journalist Gul Hamaad Farooqi for his journalistic services.
Those who spoke on the occasion included Azharul Haq, Saifullah, Professor Masood Anwar, Malak Liaquat Ali Tabassum, the chairman of the Pakistan Thinker Forum, and Mahmood Khan, the chief coordinator for the SBBU cub-campus Chitral.
