CHITRAL: June 26, 2025: Rescue 1122 Lower Chitral, in partnership with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Elementary and Secondary Education Department (KPESED), has launched a school-based training program aimed at equipping students with essential emergency response skills.
The initiative focuses on first aid, safe victim transportation, and fire safety awareness.
As part of this program, a training session was conducted today at Government Higher Secondary School, Broze. During the session, students received hands-on instruction in basic first aid procedures, proper techniques for shifting injured individuals, and preventive measures for fire safety.
The primary goal of this initiative is to empower students with the knowledge and practical skills necessary to act swiftly and effectively in emergency situations, providing immediate assistance, ensuring safe evacuation, and minimizing harm.
The session saw enthusiastic participation from students, who engaged actively in both theoretical and practical exercises.
Rescue 1122 Lower Chitral, with continued support from KPESED, is committed to expanding these training sessions across government high and higher secondary schools in the district.
By fostering a culture of preparedness among youth, the program aims to build safer and more resilient communities.
