DROSH: A house was gutted in a fire in Drosh on Saturday, rescue and district administration said.
The house located in the Drosh bazar caught fire perhaps due to electric short circuiting. Rescue 1122, Chitral police and levies along with local people reached the spot.
They put out the flames before it could spread to the nearby houses and shops.
The district administration of Lower Chitral said senior officials supervised the firefighting operation and contained the flames from spreading.
