Drosh, March 11, 2026: A relief camp established for the internally displaced people of Arandu due to clashes on Afghan border has also become operational at RPDC Shah Nigar in Drosh.
According to the district administration of Lower Chitral, all essential facilities and arrangements are in place in the camp under the supervision of officials concerned.
Officials and staff of the district administration are continuously present at the camp to provide shelter, quality food, medical assistance, and other basic necessities to the displaced families.
In view of the holy month of Ramazan, organized arrangements have also been made for Iftar and Sehri to ensure that the affectees do not face any difficulty while observing the fast.
District authorities have reiterated their commitment to continue relief efforts and provide full support to the affected families.
