Chitral, Jan 20, 2026: The Lower Chitral police have continued targeted operations against individuals involved in the drug trade and other criminal activities.
In a latest operation, a suspect involved in drug-related activities was apprehended during a house search. The arrested individual has been identified as Mahboob Elahi, a resident of Broz. During the search, police recovered a pistol, one magazine, charas and 118 grams of ice (methamphetamine).
A case has been registered against the suspect at City Police Station Chitral, and further investigation is underway, said a statement issued by the police.
