Booni, Jan 15, 2026: Two people, including a minor girl, lost their lives in a road traffic accident near Shogram village of Upper Chitral this morning.
According to reports, the jeep carrying six persons from the same family was travelling to Oweer from Drungagh Gohkeer. The jeep was being driven by Saeedur Rehman of Drungagh when it fell off the road at Shogram Zom into a ravine.
As a result, one of the passengers identified as Faizullah and a minor girl lost their lives on the spot.
Local people reached the spot followed by Rescue 1122 teams who later shifted the injured to the District Headquarters Hospital, Lower Chitral.
