Booni, Jan 13, 2026: Shah Wazir Lal of Booni Lasht passed away on Tuesday after suffering a cardiac attack. He was 70.
Shah Wazir Lal was a prominent political and social figure and a longtime leader of the Awami National Party and was the party’s district president for Upper Chitral.
He was a man of integrity, honesty and an unblemished character. He devoted his entire life selflessly to public service. He was widely respected for his political and social contributions to the area.
