Drosh, Nov 30, 2025: A large number of stray dogs in Drosh Bazaar and nearby areas has created serious problems for the local people. Residents say that the number of these dogs is increasing every day, but the concerned departments are not paying any attention.
According to citizens, groups of stray dogs roam the streets and can attack anyone at any time. Elderly people, women, and schoolchildren are especially at risk, and many residents feel unsafe while walking outside.
People have expressed disappointment over the silence of the authorities. They say it looks like the administration is waiting for a bad incident to happen before taking action. Locals have demanded that a proper campaign be started immediately to control stray dogs and protect the public.
Another serious issue is that anti-rabies vaccines are often not available in local hospitals. If someone gets bitten by a dog, they may face great difficulty in getting timely treatment.
