Proposals Invited for Two Road Projects

CHITRAL, October 24, 2025:
The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has invited proposals from qualified consultancy firms for two infrastructure projects in Upper Chitral, aimed at improving road connectivity in the region’s remote mountainous areas.

According to an official Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the Communication and Works (C&W) Department, the projects include the Feasibility Study (F/S) and Design of the Mastuj–Broghil Road (153 km) and the F/S and Design of the jeep-able bridge from Awi to Parwak under the Annual Development Programme (ADP 2025–26).

The bidding process will be conducted through E-Procurement (EPADS) as per KPPRA Rules 2014, following the Quality and Cost-Based Selection (QCBS) method. Registered firms with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and KPPRA are eligible to apply.

Interested consultants must submit technical and financial proposals by November 11, 2025, at 12:00 PM, while technical proposals will be opened the same day at 1:00 PM at the office of the Executive Engineer, C&W Division Upper Chitral. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for October 30, 2025, at 11:00 AM.

RFP documents and Terms of Reference (TOR) are available during office hours for a non-refundable fee of Rs. 5,000, and can also be downloaded from the C&W and KPPRA websites (www.kppra.gov.pk).
