CHITRAL, Oct 20, 2025: Acting on the special directives of District Police Officer (DPO) Lower Chitral Iftikhar Shah, the police have stepped up their crackdown on drug peddlers across the district, showing a strong commitment to eliminating narcotics.
A police team arrested Arsalan Ahmad, a resident of Rehankot, during a search. The team noticed the man acting suspiciously and immediately intercepted him.
During the search, the police recovered 61 grams of crystal meth (ice) from his possession. Officers seized the drugs on the spot and took the suspect into custody for further legal action.
Investigators have launched a detailed probe and expect to make more arrests as they continue operations to dismantle drug networks in the area.
