364 Vacancies Allocated for CSS 2024


Islamabad, October 2025 : The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has officially announced the allocation of 364 vacancies for the upcoming CSS Examination 2024, covering various federal departments and institutions.

Of these, 247 are newly created posts, while 117 are carryover vacancies from previous years.

The vacancies have been distributed across different quotas to ensure inclusivity: 214 seats are reserved for open merit candidates, 32 for women and 118 for minorities.

Provincial and regional allocations have also been specified: 179 seats for Punjab, 48 for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 31 for Balochistan, 32 for rural Sindh, 29 for urban Sindh, 15 for former FATA candidates, eight for Azad Jammu and Kashmir and four for Gilgit-Baltistan.

The vacancies cover a range of prestigious services, including the Pakistan Administrative Service, Police Service, Foreign Service, Inland Revenue Service, Office Management Group and others.

The FPSC emphasized that the final allotment of candidates to various groups and services will be based on merit, candidate preferences, and domicile after the CSS 2024 results are declared.
