ISLAMABAD, Sept 27, 2025: The hearing of the murder case of TikToker Sana Yousuf could not proceed today due to the presiding judge’s prior commitments.
The hearing was conducted in the District and Sessions Court of Islamabad, presided over by Additional Sessions Judge Muhammad Afzal Majoka.
During the proceedings, government counsel Raja Naveed Hussain appeared in court. However, due to the judge’s busy schedule, no significant progress could be made in the case.
Additionally, no further witness statements were recorded in today’s session. The court has instructed that all witnesses must appear in the next hearing for their statements to be recorded. Consequently, the next hearing has been scheduled for October 4, 2025.
It may be mentioned here that the Islamabad-based Chitral social media influencer Sana Yousaf was shot dead at his G-13/1 residence by a young man on June 2, 2025.
The accused was arrested the next day from his hometown of Faisalabad and is languishing in Adiala jail in Rawalpindi.
