These conditions increase the risk of Glacial Lake Outburst Floods (GLOFs). GLOFs can cause sudden flash floods in mountainous areas.
Authorities advise residents and tourists to avoid unnecessary travel. They also urge everyone to stay alert and take safety precautions.
