CHITRAL: A meeting of the District Coordination Committee (DCC) was held at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office in Lower Chitral, chaired by DC Rao Hashim Azeem and Commandant Chitral Scouts Colonel Bilal Javed, to review ongoing development projects, law and order, and administrative challenges in the district.
The meeting was attended by the District Police Officer (DPO), administrative officers, and heads of all line departments. It focused on evaluating the progress of government development schemes, identifying bottlenecks, and discussing strategies to ensure timely completion.
Officials provided a comprehensive briefing on ongoing infrastructure and public welfare projects across various sectors. The law and order situation in Lower Chitral was also reviewed, with discussions on maintaining peace and stability in the region.
Speaking at the meeting, the deputy commissioner emphasized the need for strong inter-departmental coordination to ensure efficient public service delivery and sustainable development. He urged all departments to work collectively toward making Lower Chitral a model district.
“District development, public welfare, and peace are interconnected goals. Achieving them requires dedication, teamwork, and accountability,” DC Rao Hashim said.
The committee also discussed future planning, resource allocation, and administrative strategies to overcome existing challenges in the implementation of provincial and federal government initiatives.
The DCC meeting concluded with a renewed commitment from all departments to strengthen collaboration and serve the people of Lower Chitral effectively.
