CHITRAL: Rescue 1122 recovered a dead body from River Chitral near Jughur village on Tuesday.
After receiving information, a rescue team reached the spot and retrieved the body and shifted it to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital in Lower Chitral.
According to initial police reports, the deceased has been identified as Mohammad Hanifullah, son of Mehrban Khan, a resident of Preyit. It is believed that he had met with an accident at Kujo Bala, where his vehicle plunged into the river about a month ago while travelling to Chitral town.
Meanwhile, Rescue 1122 teams continue search operations for another missing youth from Orghoch, whose body has not yet been located. Search efforts are ongoing at various points along the river.
