This is a message from the family of Dr Zohra Wali who passed away after a brief illness on Sept 29, 2024.
“I would like to express my gratitude to all of you for bearing with us the grief and shock over the passing of our beloved Zohra Wali. My mobile phones are flooded with calls and messages from well-wishers from different parts of Pakistan and abroad. People from far-off areas of Chitral visited us at Laghalabad in Yarkhun valley to express their condolences. There was Quran Khwani in mosques and madrassahs in Lower and Upper Chitral for the departed soul.
“I am not in a position to respond to each and every one of you, and through this message would like to convey my gratitude to all of you for standing with us at this difficult time and giving us strength to bear the irreparable loss with grace. Please keep Zohra Wali in your thoughts and prayers. May Allah Almighty bless you all.”
