CHITRAL: Lower Chitral District and Sessions Judge Khalid Khan administered oath to the newly-elected office-bearers of the district bar association here on Saturday.
Deputy commissioner Mohammad Imran Khan was the chief guest on the occasion.
Senior civil judge (judicial) Farman Ali, senior civil judge (admin) Mohammad Hayat and civil judges Mohammad Siddique, Sher Hasan Khan and Kaleemullah were also in attendance.
The office-bearers included president Sajidullah, vice president Mohammad Kausar Chughtai, general secretary Nabek Kalash, finance secretary Faisal Kamal and library secretary Zafarul Haq.
Speaking on the occasion, DC Imran urged the lawyers to play their role in providing cheap and speedy justice to the litigants.
