CHITRAL: Transporters are overcharging passengers before Eidul Fitr besides keeping vehicles off the road to create shortage of vehicles.
Passengers complained to the district administration about the issue on which officials visited the bus terminals and imposed fines on the drivers.
A number of people going to Chitral from Islamabad said the drivers of a coaster overcharged them for luggage and crammed passengers into the vehicles.
