VEHARI: A Chitrali member of the Tableeghi jamat was stabbed to death by his colleague in Vehari area of Punjab on Sunday.
The police identified the deceased as Islamuddin, son of Muhammad Shah, and his alleged killer as Sadiqullah.
The police said the two Tableeghi jamat members had a brawl after which Sadiqullah stabbed Islamuddin.
The injured was shifted to hospital where he died. The Jamat was on 40 days preaching mission and had arrived in Vehari in January 18.
Police arrested the alleged killer and started an investigation.
The alleged killer was said to be mentally disturbed and had joined the Jamat a few days ago, according to s news report.
