CHITRAL: For the first time, a women football team has been formed in Chitral by national player Karishma Ali.
About Chitral Women FC, Karishma told media that she has formed the football club, consisting of 16 players. She said six of the 16 players of the Chitral Women FC had represented Khyber Pakthunkhwa in the Primer Minister\’s Youth Program in the past.
The players were picked on the basis of trials at camps set up in Garam Chashma and Madaklasht during the last six months, she added.
According to Karishma, the CWFC will participate in a tournament to be held in Islamabad next year.
Karishma has been working for creating a supportive environment for female students to actively engage in various sports and recreational pursuits.
