DROSH: Police here have arrested two persons on the charge of stealing batteries, tyres and other accessories of vehicles from different areas of Drosh, a spokesman for the Lower Chitral police said on Thursday.
According to the statement, the Drosh police had received complaints about theft from vehicles in Dondigal and Allian areas. A team headed by SHO Haider Hussain and comprising ASHO Faizur Rehman and others probed the complaints and traced the suspects and arrested them.
The suspected thieves were Sihat Khan, son of Aminullah, resident of Upper Dir, and Wajidullah, son of Shah Ji, resident of old Drosh bazaar. Stolen items including two batteries, one tyre, and devices and a vehicle used in the theft were recoverd from the possession of the suspects. it added.
