CHITRAL: A man was on Monday evening shot dead in the village of Mroi Upper in Lower Chitral, according to social media reports.
The reports said Ejazur Rehman allegedly killed Al-Haj Uddin, son of Aminuddin, over an old enmity. In the year 2011, a six-year-old boy was found dead with his throat slit. Al-Haj was arrested in that murder case and jailed.
He was recently released from jail and shot dead by Ejaz, the brother of the deceased boy.
The body of Al-Haj was shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital for postmortem while Ejaz surrendered to the police.
According to the police, Ejaz came to the police along with a 12-bore gun and said he had killed Alhaj at the Mroi Upper graveyard.
