Farewell to ex-DC Chitral

DROSH, May 18: Muhammad Shoaib Jadoon left Chitral after handing over the charge of the deputy commissioner to his successor Aminul Haq on Sunday. droshOn this occasion, a farewell function was arranged in honour of Mr Jadoon by Qari Jamal Abdul Nasir at Drosh in which elites and youth of the town took part in a large number. The elites on behalf of the residents of Drosh presented bouquets to the outgoing DC and showered rose petals on him. In a brief speech on the occasion, Mr Jadoon said like other people coming to Chitral he was also impressed by the sincerity and peace loving nature of the people of Chitral. He said he was taking away from Chitral bundles of flowers of love and sincerity, adding his bonds with the people of Chitral would never end. He also paid rich tributes to the people of Drosh. On this occasion, the participants of the function chanted slogans of ‘Long live Shoaib Jadoon’. Prominent among those who attended the function included Haji Sher Wali Khan, Zahir Khan, Haji Shah Mehmood Kamal, Abdul Jamil, Saeedullah, Khush Nawaz Khan, Gul Nayab Khan of the PPP, Samiullah Sameen of the PTI, Maulana Muhammad Shah, Maulana Naseer Ahmed, and Ksshif ibne Jamal. Assistant Commissioner Minhasuddin, AC Abdul Akram, Additional Assistant Commissioner Basharat Ahmed, ADC Saleh and principal staff officer Zahir Shah were also present.—Jahan Zeb Rahi  ]]>
