Maulana Jamsheed of JUI/JI won from Chitral UC one while Qazi Faisal of the PPP remained second. Shahzada Khalid Pervez won from UC Drosh 2 defeating Haider Abbas of JI/JUI. From UC Kosht, Ghulam Mustafa adv of PTI bagged 1739 votes while Engineer Zafar of JI/JUI remained second with 1682 votes.

we welcome and accept from the bottom of our heart the victory by the religious parties in the yesterday’s election for the District Chitral Assembly, offer our best congratulations for the newly elected members of the assembly and also hope and pray to almighty God that the present peaceful,brotherhood and religious harmony would be maintained between the two school of thoughts in Chitral. As we understand that our beautiful Chitral environmentally, linguistically and culturally is little bit different from other parts of KPK. Now it is utmost responsibility of our religious representatives in the Assembly to come forward and play a role for the mutual relations,respect and religious harmony, as we have witnessed the catastrophic incident on the bus in Karachi(SAFOORA GHOT) which killed innocent people. The religious parties in Chitral(JI and JUI F)strongly condemned the terrorist act not even condemned but Siraj-ul-Haq the federal leader of JI personally visited the hospital for condolences and inquired about the victims in order to show solidarity for the community in chitral. We appreciate this wonderful religious harmony,even our great Islam teaches us exact the same thing.The grant Mufti of Jamah Masjid Chitral in his speech on Friday condemned the attack .This strong and positive religious harmony has always been a great help for maintaining the peace in our homeland and we expect to have this religious harmony in future too.
We congratulate our heartiest Mubarakey and felicitations to all our brothers and sisters in Chitral who made their political way as a successful representatives of Chitrali people in the District Assembly of Chitral. Wow what an excellent and fabulous day was May 30 2015 that the people of my beloved birthplace went out and chose their representatives without any force, presser and inter fair of others.Yes this is the beauty and real meaning of democracy.We saw on the media especially all my sisters standing on the line waiting for their terns to cast the vote as their fundamental civic rights in a peaceful manner,that show the world that Chitralians are most civilized, educated and peaceful people on the planet. yes there are two things in my mind while looking at the emerging political picture. the first is people of Chitral have exhibited utmost sense of democracy and elected their representatives according to their own priorities that may be of the nature of ethnicity, beradari and sectarian.
But the other is that, it shows polarization and failure of the main political parties to meet the expectations of the masses. The PPP failed not once but repeatedly and more disappointingly the PTI failed soon after a sudden takeoff seen in the 2013 elections. Not only the PTI provincial government failed to deliver and bring any change as promised, the local leaders also turned out to be a total mess, failure and rot.
More importantly, when the key PTI leaders in Chitral were rejected in the general elections the party brought back them to the local elections instead of bringing new faces. This shows that these people only wanted to come to power but failed.
So with the failure of the political parties there was a vacuum and still there is and the people doing politics for vested interests in the name of religion joined hands to fill that vacuum.
What would be the consequences of this ghalaburda is more corruption and more munafiqat and the society would remain as polarized and divided into ethnicity and sectarianism as it has been for decades.

It is an age old saying that too many cooks spoil the broth. What a mess, certainly it shows that the average IQ of Chitralis must be low. By selecting this hodgepodge lot the Chitralis have ensured that there will be no significant work done for the development of the district. We all know that there will be no cooperation between the MNA APML, MPA PPP, District government JI JUI and provincial government PTI. One wonders what sort of mind-set was used in casting your vote, it seems all quite petty and an emotional exercise , what a waste.
One can only hope that the leadership will cooperate with one another and look at the larger interest of the population as a whole otherwise we have landed in a soup.

Yesterday early morning according to chitraltoday.net winner of UC Mastuj for distt council was Ahmed Khan but the results have been changed by Mr. Zar Alam and now the winner is Ghulam Mustafa Ustaz. May be at morning time the result should be incomplete. So my heartiest congrats for Mustafa Ustaz to win this campaign. Now you are the local area’s leaders to serve your nation as the chance given by Allah Almighty.

According to my opinion and thinking of view after getting major position the religious parties will not be stable to continue their unity for long because it has experienced that they have provincially not agreed about the distribution of different ministries and could not continue their unity for long as like their past harsh politic policy there also are chances that they will again fight about the distribution of the administrative seats and works. Who will be district Nazim (chirman) etc. To COME INTO ONE platform is like to play card is very easy for religious parties but to continue unity is very difficult so then there is a big chance that they will change their agreements after getting substantial majority.
If they will follow their promises then nothing can stop them to become the major and future highest and strong political party in coming national central and provincial level election.
