Chitral, Aug 28, 2025: The district administration, following the directives of the deputy commissioner, has launched a strict crackdown on unregistered rickshaws operating in the area.
The administration gave rickshaw owners a one-month deadline to register their vehicles legally. After the deadline expired, Traffic Magistrate Isa Muhammad Khan, accompanied by the traffic police, conducted a thorough operation in the city.
During the operation, the officials seized several rickshaws operating without registration.
The administration will continue targeting illegal and unregistered rickshaws to improve traffic management and ensure citizens’ safety. Officials urged rickshaw owners to register their vehicles promptly to avoid penalties.
