DIR: Torrential rains have hit several districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In Lower Dir’s Maidan Sori Pao area, heavy rain collapsed a house roof. The collapse killed five people and injured four.
In Bajaur, lightning struck near Salarzo tehsil during a cloudburst. The strike killed 11 people and damaged several homes. In total, 16 people have died in these weather disasters.
Rescue teams are on the ground. Authorities are assessing damage and aiding survivors.
