US developing sixth generation F-47 warplane

WASHINGTON: US President Donald Trump has announced the development of America’s ‘Sixth Generation Warplane’.
Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office of the White House, Trump said the aircraft would be called the “F-47.”

According to foreign media, this name can be the reason for Trump to be the 47th president of the United States. Trump said that F-47 will be an aircraft whose characteristics and capabilities will be unparalleled and the world has never seen such an aircraft.
He said the aircraft’s speed, ammunition carrying capacity and other characteristics would be unmatched in the world. He added that the contract to build the plane had been awarded to US aircraft manufacturer, Boeing. However, he did not disclose the total cost of the program. According to the Wall Street Journal, it will be the most expensive aircraft in history.
According to US President, the experimental model of the aircraft has been in secret flights for the last five years.
U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, who was with Trump at the time, said the aircraft would help maintain U.S. air dominance.

“We’ve seen the F-15, F-16, F-18, F-22 and F-35; now we will have the F-47.” With this warplane, America will send a message to its allies that they are not going anywhere and will make it clear to their enemies that America is capable of showing power around the world for generations to come.
Trump said the details of the plane were still under wraps and gave only a glimpse of the plane to the media.
