Notorious drug peddler arrested: police

CHITRAL: Police have arrested a man after recovery of charas from his possession during a random checking, the Lower Chitral police said in a statement on Saturday.    

“Under supervision of SDPO Bumburate circle Hasan Ullah, SHO Ayun police station Inspector Sahibur Rehman and his team during checking arrested notorious drug seller Mumtaz Khan, son of Abdul Ghafar, resident of Sehan Ayun,” said the police.

It added that 463 grams of charas was recovered from the possession of the drug seller, adding an investigation has been launched against the arrested man.

On almost daily basis, the police show arrest of drug peddlers after recovery of mostly charas of a few hundred grams from them, but it seems the drug supply chain remains intact from down districts.
