CHITRAL: The recent flood has left the already dilapidated Prayit-Mroi road in shambles, adding to the hardship of the local residents. Despite repeated appeals, the road remains unrepaired, disrupting the lives of thousands.
The flood has resulted in a shortage of essential items in local shops, further exacerbating the woes of the affected population. Patients and others requiring urgent medical attention are particularly distressed due to the lack of road connectivity.
“We are suffering immensely due to the unrepaired road,” said a local resident. “We appeal to the district administration to expedite the repair work and restore the road to its former state.”
