Two Chitrali doctors achieve milestones in profession

PESHAWAR: Two medical professionals from Chitral have achieved historic milestones, cementing their positions as trailblazers in their respective fields.
Dr Siddique Ahmad has been promoted to the prestigious post of Professor of Surgery (BPS-20) at Khyber Girls Medical College/Hayatabad Medical Complex Peshawar.
Prof Dr Siddique Ahmad becomes the first Chitrali to attain the rank of professor of surgery.
Currently, he is serving as head of the Surgical Unit C at Hayatabad Medical Complex Peshawar. Dr Ahmad’s dedication and expertise in the field of surgery have earned him widespread recognition.
His promotion is a testament to his unwavering commitment to providing exceptional surgical care to the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Dr Ahmad was promoted to the post of assistant professor about 11 years ago.
Meanwhile, Prof Dr Israr Ahmad has been promoted to the post of Professor of Orthopedic and Spine Surgery (BPS-20) at Khyber Girls Medical College/Hayatabad Medical Complex Peshawar, earning the distinction of being the first Chitrali Professor of Orthopedic & Spine Surgery.
Dr Israr Ahmad, hailing from Barenis Chitral, is already in charge of Orthopedic B unit Hayatabad Medical Complex Peshawar.
Both doctors have received widespread recognition for their unwavering commitment to providing exceptional care to the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Their promotions are a testament to their hard work and dedication to the medical field.
