CHITRAL: City police arrested two persons on the charge of stealing valuables from a house and recovered the stolen items.
The Lower Chitral police in a statement on Saturday said that Sadiq Ullah, son of Mirza Wali of Jughoor, had registered a complaint in the City police station stating that burglars entered his house and stole cash and valuables.
On the instructions of DPO Iftikhar Shah, a special team comprising SHO Munirul Mulk and other officers was formed. The team in a very short period of time traced two suspects and arrested them. They were identified as Behroz Hussain, son of Babar Hussain, resident of Rehankot, and Ejaz Rashid, son of Abdul Baqi, resident of Mustajaban Deh.
The police also recovered the stolen valuables, including five tola gold worth Rs1,250,000, one wrist watch worth Rs15,000, one gold ring valuing Rs60,000 and a shaving machine.
