CHITRAL: The district administration of Lower Chitral organized a snow sport festival in Madaklasht and attributed it to Aziza Gul, a skier from the area.
Aziza Gul recently returned after representing Pakistan at the Asian Winter Games held in China.
In the festival, scores of teams participated in snow sports such as skiing. The Aziza Gul sports festival was jointly arranged by the district administration and Chitral Scouts.
For the last a couple of years, Madaklasht has emerged as a popular venue for winter sports with the holding of an annual event there.
