BOONI: Retired ambassador Muhammad Aslam Khan was laid to rest at his ancestral village of Shogram in Upper Chitral on Sunday.
He passed away after a protracted illness at the age of 69 on March 14 at a hospital in Kuwait where he had settled after retirement as Pakistan’s ambassador to that country in 2015.
The dead body of the retired diplomat was brought home on Saturday. A large number of people attended his funeral held at Shogram village today.
