PESHAWAR: The education department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has announced holidays in educational institutions form February 6 to 9 in connection with the general elections 2024 to be held on Feb 8.
According to a notification issued by the education department, polling stations have been set up in schools and colleges and teachers will be on election duty. Therefore, the educational institutions will remain closed from February 6.
Moreover, schools have also been closed in Punjab, Sindh and Balochistan. The educational institutions in hilly areas of KP, including Chitral, are already on winter vacation till the end of February.
