Students from Chitral secure positions in six out of eight contests


PESHAWAR: A Schools Literary Festival under the patronage of Al-Khidmat Foundation was held at Muslim Education Complex Peshawar.

Students from 22 schools across the province participated in eight categories and showed their talents with great enthusiasm, said a press release on Wednesday.

The talented students of Al-Khidmat Foundation School, Qutyba Campus, Denin Chitral, showed the essence of their talents and got the following positions:

Abu Sinan Zakir (recitation), first position; Fazlur Rahman (Urdu Speech) first position; Biha Arsh Mind (English Speech) first position; Jannatul Aden, Shabana Vijaya (art) first position; Asma Bibi (English Essay), first position; Ashfafala, Amara (poetry), first position, and Muhammad Murtaza (Naat Khawani), third position.

It may be noted that out of total eight category competitions, students of Al-Khidmat Foundation School Qutbiya Campus Denin Chitral secured positions in six categories.

Additional Secretary Elementary and Secondary Education Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Fazl Hussain was the chief guest at this program.

Provincial Director of ETA Dr. Yasir Imran, President of Al-Khidmat Foundation KPK Khalid Waqas and Director of Al-Khidmat Al Falah Scholarship Program Dr. Ilyas Farooqui specially participated in the program. Principals, teachers and students of all schools were also present on this occasion.

The guests and participants appreciated the efforts of Al-Khidmat Foundation and the Education Department for organizing the event.
