Two terrorists killed, four injured in Urson operation: ISPR
CHITRAL: Two terrorists were killed and four others were injured and arrested in an operation conducted in Urson valley along the Pak-Afghan border in Lower Chitral.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a statement on Wednesday said that the intelligence-based operation was conducted on Nov 7 and 8 night.
During the operation, it added, there was an exchange of intense firing between the security forces and the terrorists during which the security forces killed the two terrorists.
The ISPR said that a clearance operation was being carried out in the area.
On September 6, over 300 terrorists from Afghanistan infiltrated into Chitral’s Urson, Astoi and Jinjiret Kuh areas and martyred five personnel of Chitral Scouts.
Later, the terrorists were pushed back in an operation in which seven of them were also killed.
