BOONI (UPPER CHITRAL): Police here on Tuesday said they have recovered 20 grams of ice along with liqour from a house in Awi village.
Crystal methamphetamine (‘ice‘, ice drug) is a stimulant drug, which means it speeds up the messages travelling between the brain and the body.
The police in a statement said that a raid was carried out at the house of Rehmat Murad at Singan Deh of Awi during which 20 grams of ice along with pipes and 1.5 litres local liquor were recovered.
The police also searched the house of Momin Nizar Baig at Mandagh in Awi and recovered 40 litres of liquor. Cases have been registered against the suspects and investigations launched, it added.
