CHITRAL: The dead body of a child was recovered from river Chitral by Rescue 11122 Lower Chitral on Friday.
The emergency service said the boy from Denin Gologh area, aged about 8-9 years, had reportedly fell into the river on Thursday. Rescue 1122 carried out a search operation for the dead body and recovered it today. The body was shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital Chitral, it said.
It may be noted that about eight persons either drowned in the river or committed suicide by jumping into it in various parts of Chitral during the last about one week.
